Muse on the elements and what they mean to you. Then go wider… expand.
The world would have you focus on water, fire, earth, air. But what love have you shared with the minerals? The stones, rocks, pebbles – the ones at your feet daily? They may not have the shine or glint of crystals, may not have the expensive price tag or cult following, but they are the memory, the bones of the earth. When you feel called to ground, look to the ground. When you’re in need of remembrance, reach to them for guidance. In times to forget, release into them.
Use all the elements, they are your birthright. Pour grief into water, have air direct your intentions, write and set alight to your passions, before burying and allowing them to grow.
Befriend the nature you have seen but failed to witness.
