It is okay to feel sad, to fully experience it. It is part of the human condition.
There are times that your heart will ache, beneath its beat of gratitude and love for all. It will ache for a present moment you did not expect, as it hopes for, and believes in, better times.
Your sadness must come, must be allowed its space to grieve and mourn and be defeated, so it can turn the pool fit for drowning into the steps that will elevate you higher.
It is okay to feel the feeling, to give your body all of its voices, not only its joy. Not only the ones that are well-received, accepted, that say the right things.
This month, honour any part of you that needs to come forward and be seen.
Have all other parts step back awhile, and give the floor to the voice that needs it most.
It is a moment to cherish.
